New Covenant Perfecting Ministries
When God divinely speaks a work into existence, He will Himself watch over it to make perfect, establish, strengthen and settle it. This is the testimony of New Covenant Perfecting Ministries.
We are a church that demonstrates the love of God in action and equips the Body of Christ for kingdom works through prayer and fellowship by being an amplification of his message.
Our History
Fellowship Christian Church was born from a weekly home Bible study ministry beginning on February 12, 1982. This Bible study was held at the Ideal’s Women’s Club in Winter Park, Florida where ministry growth continued for three-and one-half years. From that Bible study, Fellowship Institutional Christian Church was birthed during a three-night teaching revival on March 22, 1984.
On that first night thirty (30) members were added to the church. For the next 3 years services were held at the Winter Park Community Center where hundreds of lives were changed to the glory of God. After that time, it was determined that a church building would be purchased. In 1987, the church moved to its current facility located at 1190 Apopka Blvd. in Apopka, FL.
After the church’s eighth anniversary, the Spirit of the Lord moved upon the Pastor concerning the “New Beginning” He was transitioning the church into. On Tuesday, June 16, 1992, under the dictates of the Holy Spirit, the ministry’s new name was announced. On Sunday, August 16, 1992, Fellowship Institutional Christian Church was officially rededicated under the name of New Covenant Perfecting Ministries Church.
In May 1984, New Covenant started out first community outreach to children by opening Little Lambs Learning Center which is currently operating as Tri-L Christian Academy servicing children from VPK through 8th grade with full accreditation.
The Perfecting Community Development Corporation is our partnership which allows outreach with Second Harvest, Aldi grocery store, Publix supermarket and other agencies which assist in supplying food and other items to over 300 individuals each month.
Our sustained mission is to increase the Kingdom of God by impacting the lives of those we touch with the power of the Gospel while working collaboratively within our surrounding communities.
