The Word of God declares in Malachi 3:8 ``Can a person cheat God? Yet, you are cheating me! ``But you ask, 'How are we cheating you?' ``When you don't bring a tenth of your income and other contribution.``
God only asks us for the tenth and the rest He leaves to us. The tithe like true worship is to be given to God alone. Psalms 24:1 pronounces, ``The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof; the world; and they that dwell therein.``
Because of this, we are then called to be faithful stewards over the resources entrusted to us. When we are faithful unto God, He then opens the windows of heaven and pours out blessings we will not have room to receive. Worship the Lord in giving.
